The primary objective of this module is to provide you with rigorous, analytical frameworks for understanding how to diagnose organizational problems.
This module provides a comprehensive understanding of how the cash flows through the business coupled with the factors that sustain profitability. This module is focused on middle managers, responsible for taking forward business initiatives inorder to develop financial acumen for interpreting and analyzing information for more effective decision making.
This module introduces a framework for thinking about problems involving uncertainty and building on this framework, develops some tools for interpreting data. While some technical analysis is essential, this module is developed and presented from the perspective of a future manager, rather than from the viewpoint of a technician.
This module provides a fundamental perspective to the theory, methods, and concerns of corporate finance. This module is designed to develop a candidate’s ability to apply a variety of financial calculations to a range of business problems, including capital budgeting decisions, management of funds, security analysis and the financial implications of various kinds of investment, financing and dividend decisions.
This module analyses the economics of managerial decision making. Our focus is on the economic fundamentals of businesses and industries: production and costs; demand for the product; production and pricing strategies; market equilibrium; competition between industry participants; and strategic decision making.
This module explores how a social inclusion framework affects social policy and practice. Across the not-for-profit, public and private sectors, we are witnessing a new wave of discourse and action under this policy banner. This module will help candidates understand and engage their target audience, as well as explore, view, and challenge barriers, values and behaviors. This module focuses mainly on the growth perspective - Corporate Expansion. It provides the candidate with the understanding of a holistic expansion strategy, which is critical for any leader to achieve a high growth as compared to the organization’s past achievements. This global expansion strategy will also become a formal plan for the organization to expand the reach of its operations into multiple countries throughout the world.
The focus of this course is to learn how to use well-researched theories about strategy, innovation and management to understand why things happen the way they do in businesses. It will help the candidates to understand what management tools, strategies and methods will and will not be effective, in different circumstances in which they find themselves.
The course provides the foundation for further study of Politics and International Relations, covering such areas as philosophy of social science, scientific methods, theoretical and methodological debates and skills key to critical reading, writing and analysis. Substantive areas of coverage include debates over structure and agency, politics and policy, historical methods, qualitative and quantitative approaches to the study of politics and international relations, measurement, inference and interpretation, the use of evidence in argumentation, narrative and language.
In this module the participant will gain key insights on how the Blue Ocean Strategy complement and go beyond traditional approaches to strategy. There is also a strong emphasis on learning how to apply Blue Ocean Strategy to real business situations in order to help your business break away from the competition and achieve strong profitable growth.
The module of Decision Science seeks to understand and improve the judgment and decision making of individuals, groups, and organizations. Decision Science is grounded in theories and methods drawn from psychology, economics, philosophy, statistics, and management science. Students also have the chance to think about and discuss decision making in many different areas.
The aim of this module is to enhance participants' understanding about the role of entrepreneur in the new venture creation process and develop their capabilities to recognize, assess and articulate new venture opportunities. It also helps to understand the resources required to underpin venture development and growth by knowing how and from where these resources can be accessed.
